Okay, I have to tell you about Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship because it honestly looks incredible. The Disney Destiny started sailing November 20, 2025, and it’s doing 4 and 5 night cruises out of Fort Lauderdale to the Bahamas and Western Caribbean. Basically the perfect length if you want something fun without committing to a full week. (Honestly, it is my favorite length for a cruise)

Heroes vs. Villains theme onboard the Disney Destiny
What’s really cool about this ship is the theme. It’s all about Heroes vs. Villains, and they’re literally leaning into that across the ship. Think one side inspired by the good guys and the other by the villains. There are shows centered around both heroes and villains and they are super fun.

The ship has 15 decks, so there’s a ton packed in. You’ve got Broadway style shows, first run movies, kids clubs that are next level, lounges, pools, fireworks at sea… all the stuff Disney does really well. And Spider Man is going to be on the stern, which is a fun Marvel touch.
The staterooms are designed for families, so expect smart layouts, modern touches, and Disney artwork that makes the rooms feel special without being over the top.
Dining
Dining was honestly one of my favorite parts.
• On the Savanna completely blew me away. It’s Lion King themed and they actually perform around you while you eat. Not just background entertainment, like full live musical moments. It felt like dinner and a show combined.
• Worlds of Marvel is back, and it’s still super fun and interactive. Honestly, I did not love worlds of Marvel on the Wish, but the new Guardians of the Galaxy themed show makes it so much more fun.
• 1923 was probably the most relaxing meal of the trip. Beautiful space, Incredible food!
Broadway Show- Hercules
The new stage show, Hercules, is fantastic. Big songs, lots of humor, super high energy. It feels made for Broadway as all Disney Cruise shows do. This lively stage production brings the larger-than-life characters, spirited humor, and iconic music of the animated classic Hercules to the cruise stage.
I honestly don’t know if I love this one more or the Moana show on the Disney Treasure.
Itinerary
The Disney Destiny will offer 4- and 5-night cruises from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, sailing to both the Bahamas and Western Caribbean. Ports of call include:
- Bahamas: Nassau, Disney’s private island Castaway Cay, and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
- Western Caribbean: Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Castaway Cay.
An Immersive Experience: Disney, Pixar, and Marvel
The Disney Destiny is a dream come true for fans of Disney, Pixar, and Marvel. Expect imaginative tie-ins throughout the ship, where beloved characters and stories come to life in ways only Disney can achieve.
From character meet-and-greets to themed activities, every corner of the ship will immerse guests in the worlds of their favorite heroes and animated classics.
Returning Favorites and New Surprises for Families
If you’ve sailed on the Disney Wish, you’ll be delighted to know some family-favorite features are returning on the Disney Destiny, including the thrilling Aquamouse (Disney’s first attraction at sea) and the action-packed Hero Zone. These activities will keep the whole family entertained as you dive into water fun or compete in interactive games.
For adults, there are new spaces designed just for you! Whether you’re looking to relax in a quiet retreat or enjoy a night of entertainment, the Disney Destiny has it all.
Plus, the same incredible kid’s clubs will be available on the Destiny, offering exciting activities that will keep the little ones entertained while parents enjoy some well-deserved time to themselves. The kid’s clubs are one of the best parts of cruising with Disney, in my opinion.
