Hollywood Studios is one of my favorite parks, not just for the thrilling rides and shows but also for its fantastic dining options. From nostalgic diners to immersive-themed eateries, there’s something for everyone. Below is my guide to some of the best restaurants at Hollywood Studios, complete with their unique features and my favorite dishes.
This park offers a wide array of restaurant themes, so you really can find something to satisfy any palate. That being said, I highly recommend the restaurants in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge simply for the experience.

Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano
Features:

One thing I love about Mama Melrose is their kid’s menu, which is much more extensive than most Disney restaurants. Your kids can get dishes like chicken parmigiana and whole wheat spaghetti, which is fantastic for families looking for variety. The restaurant’s warm, inviting atmosphere and the flavorful Italian cuisine make it a family favorite.
Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant
Features:

- Atmosphere: Retro drive-in theater with vintage sci-fi movie clips playing on a large screen.
- Specialty: Burgers, shakes, and an entertaining dining experience.

I have to admit, the movies shown are a bit odd since they’re old sci-fi flicks, but the atmosphere is unique and always booked up. Your kids will love the popcorn and M&M’s served before you even sit down, making it a fun and engaging meal. Sitting in classic car-shaped booths while enjoying the kitschy movie clips adds a nostalgic charm to the dining experience.
50’s Prime Time Café
Features:
- Cuisine: American comfort food
- Atmosphere: 1950s-style kitchen with TV sitcom setting, complete with black-and-white TVs playing vintage clips.
- Specialty: Homestyle dishes and interactive waitstaff who treat you like family.
Favorite Dishes:

In my husband’s opinion, 50’s Prime Time Café is the best restaurant in Hollywood Studios, mainly for the entertainment. The waitstaff are fantastic, often making your kids eat their veggies and giving you attitude while you order. Everyone is treated like family, and your kids will have a blast. The homey decor and playful interactions make dining here a memorable experience.
The Hollywood Brown Derby
Features:

- Atmosphere: Elegant, vintage Hollywood theme replicating the famous Brown Derby restaurant.
- Specialty: Signature Cobb Salad and fine dining experience.
Favorite Dishes:
- Appetizer: Crab Cakes

The Hollywood Brown Derby offers a more refined dining experience with its classic Hollywood charm. The Cobb Salad is a must-try, and the elegant setting makes it perfect for a special meal.
