Spring is just around the corner which means warmer weather, carefree spring break days, and epic egg hunts! It also means trading in your munchkins bulky winter gear for some light and bright styles. You’ll need simple looks that can transition from road trips to family gatherings in a snap. Plus, something your kids will actually wear and you’ll still find Insta-worthy. Lucky for you I’ve got a few tricks up my sleeve to keep both you and your little ones happy.

Kids want to look and feel good, especially during the spring when the spend so much time exploring outdoors. Moms want to buy pieces that are so cute we can’t help but snap and post pictures on Instagram, but we also want to find outfits that can be worn more than once. Here are 3 tips I have learned that help me accomplish my goals and keep my munchkins happy.
1. Embrace their Independence
At 3-years-old Olivia is a ball of energy and super fun! She loves to be silly, has the BEST belly laugh I have ever heard, and she gives the most incredible hugs. She also LOVES to flex her independence so finding pieces that are super cute + easy for her to pull on and off is key. Thankfully, OshKosh B’gosh has the perfect spring line full of adorable bike shorts, pull-on shorts, and scooters with shorts built right inside.
Pair them with their cute tees and tanks and you are set. I love that OshKosh B’gosh adds ruffles and/ or bows to all of their tanks and tees making their tops both super cute and photogenic. Take a look at the details on Liv’s ruffle sleeve tee. I’m obsessed with those bright colors they just scream happy. Speaking of photogenic + independence… take a peek at Liv’s face below- ha! This girl cracks me up, never a dull moment.
The other great thing about OshKosh’s new spring line is it’s super easy to mix and match styles. Why does this matter? Well, for one you can easily create a spring wardrobe capsule (read more on how I do that here) which saves you tons of cash & makes packing for your spring break trip super easy!!

I have been there done that with the super fancy Easter dresses and you know what I have learned through trial and error. Tons of ruffles, satin, and white tights = an Easter disaster. Kids get uncomfortable, cranky, and often change out of that outfit before you snap all the uber cute egg hunt pics. Not to mention they literally wear the dress ONE TIME! I would much rather grab adorable looks that can go from the egg hunt to a play date at the park to our upcoming spring break vacation.
Do yourself a favor and pick an Easter look that you and your child can both agree on. OshKosh makes it easy. Their spring line is crazy cute and super comfortable. Plus, the OshKosh B’gosh website has outfit suggestions where they pair pieces together for you. Putting together a cute look has never been more simple!
3. Dirt Don’t Hurt
As a new mom, I chased poor Camden around everywhere trying to make sure he stayed clean. Fast forward to baby number 5 and one thing I have learned is that if you buy quality clothes from a brand like OshKosh B’gosh, they wash well, and last! So, sit back this spring and let your kid be a kid. Like Shanti says, “and at the end of the day, your feet should be dirty, your hair messy, and your eyes sparkling.”
Olivia’s smile is infectious! Her energy just bursts through the photos, and that top is so adorable on her! I love how OshKosh B’gosh clothes are so well made and durable – they totally have stood up to my own kids’ tough wear and tear, for sure. And, they’re cute, too!
I haven’t bought OshKosh B’gosh clothes before. It look so comfortable and I think I will buy for my kid. Thank you for your sharing!
And, I have to say … That a lovely girl.
