A mom of six through birth and adoption, family travel specialist, self-proclaimed chocolate chip cookie connoisseur, Disney lover, and, I hope to be, your new best friend.

hello,

You know I am all about making the most of the fun moments with the kids which means holidays are some of my favorite times. That said, being a working mom of 6 I totally understand that time crunch. So, I am sharing a few simple recipes that I have used over the years (that my kids looove!) that I have managed to pull off even during my busiest days.

*TIP- I have linked everything you need right here so that you can order it same-day from Walmart+. Told ya’ i got your back!

Fang Donuts

You can’t get any easier than this one. A tip I learned after doing this a few times is depending on the size of the hole in your donut it may be easier to snip the fangs in two and push them into the donut versus squeezing them into the middle which can sometimes split the donut into two.

INGREDIENTS

  • box of glazed donuts
  • plastic fangs
  • candy eyes
  • icing

DIRECTIONS

Simply press the fangs into the hole of your donut. Pip a dot of icing and place your eyeball on and voila- you’ve done it!!

Spider Donuts

I have served these both at breakfast and as an afternoon treat. I have even served them on top of a hot fudge sundae- so fun! Regardless of when you serve them, they are guaranteed a good time.

INGREDIENTS

  • box of glazed donuts
  • chocolate donut holes
  • hot fudge
  • candy eyes.

DIRECTIONS

Place a donut hole inside each of your glazed donuts. Then carefully scoop the hot fudge from its container, place it into a baggie, and snip off a side so you can pipe with it. Next, you will pipe two dots on your chocolate donut hole and place candy eyes on top. Then pipe legs from the chocolate donut hole over the glazed donut to create the appearance of spider legs. Boom! Done!

Reese’s Bats

Reese’s is clearly the BEST Halloween candy out there- don’t fight me on this! Just agree, we’re friends remember? Okay, so let’s mix Reese’s with Oreos to create the cutest little delicious bats for the kids.

INGREDIENTS

  • Reese’s peanut butter cups
  • Oreo’s
  • hot fudge
  • candy eyeballs

DIRECTIONS

Unwrap Reese’s peanut butter cup. Then carefully scoop the hot fudge from its container and place it into a baggie and snip off a side so you can pipe with it. Next, pipe a small blob onto your pb cup. Take your Oreo cookie and twist one side off so that it comes off clean (no frosting). If it has frosting simply remove with a butter knife. Then break or cut the clean Oreo cookie into two equal pieces. Use these pieces to create bat wings. Secure your cookie bat wings onto your hot fudge blob. Then pipe two dots onto your cookies and place your candy eyes on top.

Once again you are done and winning in this whole parenting game. Way to go mama!!
