I am a total foodie and one of my favorite things about visiting Disneyland during the holidays is ALL THE FOOD!!! Especially, now that they have added their Festival of Holidays at California Adventure Park. Now you can experience some of the deliciousness in your own kitchen thanks to this delicious Sweet Potato Pie recipe Disneyland shared with me. These individual sweet potato pies are perfect for holiday parties!
Make Disneyland’s INCREDIBLE Sweet Potato Pie from the Festival of Holidays [recipe]

Whether you are able to attend Disney’s Festival of Holidays yourself or not you can treat yourself (and your family & friends) to these incredible sweet potato pies. The recipe below is for six individual pies but, if you prefer, you can check out the chef’s note on the bottom to see how to convert the recipe to create one regular sized pie.
SWEET POTATO PIE Festival of Holidays Disneyland® Park
INGREDIENTS
CANDIED PECANS
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup pecan halves
SWEET POTATO FILLING
6 (4-inch) frozen pie crusts, thawed 1 (15 ounces) can sweet potatoes 1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla extract 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
2 eggs
2 tablespoons butter, melted
PECAN STREUSEL
1 1/2 cups light brown sugar 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose flour 3/4 cup bread flour
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup butter, melted
SPICED WHIPPED CREAM
2 tablespoons powdered sugar 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 cup heavy cream

BAKING & ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
TOPPING:
Powdered sugar
FOR CANDIED PECANS:
1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone baking mat.
- Combine water and sugar in small saucepan and bring to boil. Add pecans and remove from heat. Stir pecans and leave in syrup for 15 minutes.
- Strain water from pecans and place on prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 3-6 minutes, until pecans are shiny.
FOR SWEET POTATO FILLING:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Poke holes in the bottom of each thawed pie crust with a fork. Bake for 8minutes and set aside to cool.
- Drain sweet potatoes and place in electric mixer. Mix on medium speeduntil very smooth.
- Add sugar, salt, vanilla, nutmeg and mix until combined. Add eggs, oneat a time, mixing until fully incorporated. Slowly add melted butter untilcombined.
- Pour sweet potato filling into cooled pie crusts and smooth filling. Setaside.
FOR PECAN STREUSEL:
1. Combine brown sugar, white sugar, all-purpose flour, bread flour, cinnamon, and salt in electric mixer. Add softened butter. Mix until crumbly.
2. Add vanilla extract and pecans and mix on low speed. Add melted butter and mix until moist. Set aside.
FOR SPICED WHIPPED CREAM:
1. Sift powdered sugar and cinnamon into small bowl. Set aside.
- Place heavy cream in an electric mixer fitted with whisk attachment. Beat onlow speed for one minute and increase to high speed. Beat until softpeaks form.
- Slowly add cinnamon and powdered sugar and beat to medium peaks.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
FOR SWEET POTATO PIE:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F
- Sprinkle 1/2 cup of pecan streusel on top of each pie and bake for 18minutes.
- Cool until room temperature and dust with powdered sugar.
- Place one dollop of spiced whipped cream and one candied pecan on topof each pie.
Cook’s Note: To make one pie, place a pie crust in a 9-inch pie plate and poke holes in crust with a fork. Bake pie crust at 350°F for 10 minutes, until golden brown. Fill with sweet potato filling and top with pecan streusel. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.
