#1 Soneva Fushi
Why You Should Go
We recently stayed at Soneva Fushi this past June and it was easily the greatest vacation of our entire life. (You can check out my full review here) This resort is easily the best of the 5 star hotels in the Maldives. There are two types of villas on the island, an island villa and and over the water villa. Both are incredible, (i highly recommend trying both on your visit).
Soneva Fushi is a one of the largest islands in the Maldives but still features a lot of the same crystal clear waters, white-sand beaches, and tropical vegetation that you would expect to find on any of the others. However, the vegetation on this particular island is much richer than the others, providing guests with a uniquely natural. It is an amazing feeling riding your bike from the over water bungalows into the jungle.
The experiences at Soneva Fushi are some of my favorite. We went snorkeling with giant Manta Rays, enjoyed a luxurious dolphin cruise, and cocktail night on their sandbar is a one of a kind experience.
Lastly, if you have kids, they have the largest kids club in all of asia.
