Day 4 was jam-packed with fun starting with the pool, then heading out to Maui Ocean Center and ending with an authentic Hawaiian luau at Old Lahaina Luau.
Grand Wailea’s pool is our absolute favorite… but to top it off they also have something called the “Fish Pipe”. The kids had a blast slipping and sliding in this giant inflatable water experience in the morning.
Maui Ocean Center was Awarded the Certificate of Excellence Hall of Fame 2015
and “Top 25 Aquariums in the U.S.” by TripAdvisor. So, obviously its great… but let me tell you what I loved- 1) The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and they are great with the kids, 2) Everything from the fish to the turtles to the coral is only visiting the aquarium- everything is released back to the ocean, and 3) Tons of interaction- the kids were able to touch live starfish and sea cucumbers. Plus, there were a bunch of interactive exhibits in the mammal area.
Lastly… visiting Old Lahaina Luau is a MUST if you are ever in Maui. This authentic Hawaiian experience is a win all around. Amazing cultural experience, BEST luau food I’ve had hands down and absolute gorgeous ocean front location.
