If you have been following us for awhile now, you know our Family loves fun games and activities! That said, you are going to love our Non Sticky Slime Recipe. Not only is it incredibly easy to make, and that is coming from mom who is an epic Pinterest craft failure, but it also only uses 4 ingredients and it’s NOT sticky!!!
One of the key ingredients in this slime recipe is Johnson’s® No Tears Moisture Wash which I would never have thought of until they approached me to work with them on a fun alternative use campaign. After several tries, we came up with the awesome no fail non sticky slime recipe below. I hope you love it as much as we do!
The Perfect Non Sticky Slime Recipe
My daughter is the creative type and I, as I mentioned above, I am the type who fails epically whenever I find a fun craft on Pinterest. So, when Ella mentioned she had seen a video that used soap as a base for slime I thought for sure I would screw it up.
Truth be told, I did screw it up the first few times before we came up with the perfect recipe we are sharing today. We have tried many different recipes with ingredients such as: baby oil, boric acid, liquid laundry detergent, liquid starch, white glue and EVEN shaving cream! Believe me, we have tried it ALL!
Now that we have it down pat we have made dozens of batches of slime and each one has come out perfectly and also stored incredibly well.
So, if you stink at crafting like I do and you want to impress your kiddos OR if you are crazy talented at crafting but are just looking for an easy slime recipe for your kid this is your go-to choice.
Plus, not only is this slime recipe fail proof but it is also the best non sticky slime you will find.
How to Make the Perfect Non Sticky Slime
Ingredients:
- 60 ml of Johnson’s® No Tears Moisture Wash
- 100 ml clear glue (we like the colored glitter glues the best)
- a few squirts of contact lens solution or saline solution
- a few pinches of baking soda
*You can find all the above ingredients at Walmart.
Directions:
Step 1: Pour the Johnson’s® No Tears Moisture Wash & clear glue into a bowl and mix until combined.
Step 2: Add a few squirts of contact solution and mix. The slime will start to thicken.
Step 3: Sprinkle some baking soda on top of the slime and mix. The mixture should start to pull away from the slides of the bowl. If it does not add more baking soda. Once the slime mixture starts to pull away from the sides of the bowl pick it up and begin kneading it with your hands. You will do this until it is no longer sticky.
To store your non sticky slime place it in a mason jar with a sealed lid.
*Add tiny plastic pieces, metallic confetti, googly eyes, to make this holiday slime or just a little bit more fun. Check out this Pinterest board for even more fun ideas!

Well, we have tried dozens of slime recipes – most fails. Then we tried this. Yeah, no fail (we thought). The day we made it it was great. The next morning – total fail. It was wet and soapy and no longer stretchy. So if this is failproof for a few hours, I’ll give you that. Otherwise, not even close. Sorry!
that looks awsome
Going to try this! Thanks!
