The latest in Starbucks’ new lineup of innovative and refreshing summer drinks, the Starbucks Iced Guava Passionfruit drink is exploding across social media. Released in time for Memorial Day, this drink has been described as “Hawaii in a cup” thanks to its tropical flavors, coconut milk base, and pretty pink hue. My daughter who is “Starbucks” obsessed insisted we drive and get one on the first day. It is her absolute favorite drink over Strawberry Acai, which I learned to make to save me a fortune.
But like all of Starbucks’ drinks, the summery drink comes with a price tag, not to mention a calorie count. Luckily, whipping up your own DIY Iced Guava Passionfruit drink from the comfort of your kitchen couldn’t be easier, which is why we are bringing you a copycat recipe with some healthy twists.
Starbucks Iced Guava Passionfruit Ingredients
Starbucks continues to make iced coconut milk drinks, which are praised for being healthier than full-fat cow’s milk, refreshing for the warm days of summer, and vegan. However, despite the supposed health benefits of coconut milk, this drink is still packed with sugary syrups and juice blends that give it the delicious flavor causing all the buzz on social media.
When making your own version, pay attention to the sugar content of the ingredients you use if your goal is to put a healthy spin on this new sweet treat.
The iced guava passionfruit drink is made with:
