We were among the first families to ever visit this stunning new destination. I’m happy to report that the soft serve station here rivals the one on Castaway Cay, and we absolutely loved the new cabanas.

There’s a Space for Everybody

One thing we immediately noticed was that it feels SO much bigger than Castaway Cay. There were multiple water play areas for little ones and lots of space on the beaches.

Family-Friendly Areas
The Family Beach along the Eleuthera shoreline is a haven for families, equipped with towels, lounge chairs, umbrellas, and a variety of activities. Like Castaway Cay, there are free lifevests and jogger strollers for littles on the island.

For extra convenience and comfort, families can rent one of the 20 premium cabanas, including four double cabanas for larger groups. These cabanas provide a mix of privacy and relaxation, with massage services available for a touch of indulgence. The cabanas far exceeded our expectations!

Adult-Exclusive Zones
Yes, there actually is an adult-only space at Lookout Cay! For a serene escape, adults can retreat to the adult-exclusive beach, where the sound of waves creates a tranquil atmosphere.

This area includes stylish dining options for island-style bites and refreshing drinks. For those desiring added luxury, beachside cabanas offer a private haven.

Kids’ Paradise
Sebastian’s Cove is a wonderland designed just for kids, staffed by Disney-trained counselors. Here, children can engage in activities and crafts, while the water play area inspired by “The Little Mermaid” promises endless aquatic fun.

What’s to Eat

Disney Lookout Cay offers a range of dining experiences to satisfy every palate. True-True BBQ features freshly grilled lunch options, blending local flavors with Disney’s culinary excellence.

The market-style dining area on the adult-exclusive beach serves light bites and drinks, ideal for a laid-back meal. We tried the burgers, chicken, and fish… they were all delicious! Most importantly, they have self-serve soft serve available. If you know us, you know our love for soft serve runs deep and our love for trying to see who can build the tallest soft serve ever runs even deeper.

Kids have their own dining area at Sebastian’s Cove, where they can enjoy meals tailored to their tastes.
