When I tell most people I live in Temecula, they either know about our rapidly growing wineries or Pechanga. For me, I am not too much of a wine drinker, I do like a glass every once and a while, but I personally am more of a craft beer kind of gal. Luckily for me, Temecula breweries are popping up all over the place and with some of the best craft beer, I have had anywhere. Here is my list of the top 7 breweries you need to try Now!
The 7 Best Temecula Breweries you Have to try Now!
– Black Market Brewing Co.
This brewery is known for their IPA, Some of the more popular menu items feature their Superstition Pumpkin ale (it’s amazing), and their Rye IPA. Aside from their beer selection, they are known to have an excellent food menu as well. They offer daily food specials for their guests and are well known for their beer cheese and nachos. They even offer some fun games to enjoy such as cornhole, Giant Jenga, and more!
- Pro Tip – Black Market is one of the few breweries that has a kitchen and serves food all day (most breweries bring in food trucks but it’s not every day), so plan to stop by this brewery during lunch or dinner.

– Refuge Brewery
One of my favorite breweries is Refuge Brewery. For the last five years, Refuge Brewery has brought Temecula a brewery full of unique beer, mostly made from local fresh seasonal ingredients. Many people rave about their most popular drink, the Blood Orange Wit, a Belgian style wheat beer brewed with fresh blood oranges. I also really enjoy their grapefruit IPA, so I recommend you sample that one as well.
Pro Tip – Refuge Brewery Summer Nights Event is one of the most fun things you can do in Temecula in the Summer. Enjoy the cool nights of Temecula with $5 pours all night long accompanied by delicious food served from a local food truck. It is a great time and I go at least once a summer.

– Mason Jar Brewing Co.
While Mason Jar Brewing Co. is not technically one of the Temecula breweries, since it is in Menifee. Mason Jar still deserves to be on this list simply because it is so fantastic it is worth the drive to Menifee. Mason Jar is so much more than just your average brewery! The atmosphere inside Mason Jar Brewery is all fun. There is a time-out chair for those who accidentally break a glass. You get to wear the Viking Hat if you are the keg killer and finish off the tap. Plus, they constantly have fun events, food trucks and more. Some of their award-winning beers include their dark chocolate coconut raspberry stout, and their Swamp Water! They even offer a great line up of food trucks.
