Snow sports are world-class in Park City, and while we love a park city summer, in the winter, Park City is a must visit stop for our family. This makes it the largest resort in the country. Neighboring Deer Valley Resort is famous for its meticulously groomed runs.
No surprise, it is consistently voted best ski resort in America by Ski Magazine! From multi-resort and discounted multi-day passes to single-day tickets and package deals, there are several ways to find Park City discount lift tickets.
We’ve headed to Utah multiple times as a family and each visit has left us in awe. Check out why we spent our last spring break in Utah!
How to Find Park City Discount Lift Tickets to Mountain Resort
Located in the heart of the historic mining town of Park City, Park City Mountain Resort is only a 35-minute drive from the Salt Lake City International Airport. With 7,300 acres of skiable terrain, 341 ski runs, 7 terrain parks, and one superpipe, Park City Mountain is Utah’s largest resort.
It is a great destination for the whole family. Park City Mountain offers nearly endless terrain for every level of skier and snowboarder to explore.
Unlimited Skiing and Riding with the Epic Pass
For unlimited skiing and riding at Park City Mountain Resort with no blackout dates, purchasing an Epic Pass is the best deal on the mountain. The Epic Pass also includes unlimited access to many Colorado resorts such as Vail, Beaver Creek, Crested Butte, and Breckenridge. There are several other resorts in California, British Columbia, and the east coast.
The pass also includes seven days at another Utah resort, Snowbasin Resort. Snowbasin is located just 63 miles (101 kilometers) north of Park City. This is a great option if you plan on visiting multiple resorts in the same season and if you want to save money.
Off-Peak Deals With the Epic Local Pass
The Epic Local Pass is a discounted version of the Epic Pass. It includes unlimited skiing and riding at Park City Mountain Resort. However, there are a few blackout dates including Thanksgiving, the week of Christmas, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and President’s Day Weekend.
This is a great money-saving option if you’re visiting outside the peak holiday seasons. The Epic Local Pass also includes two days at Snowbasin and Sun Valley Resorts as well as unlimited access at Breckenridge, Keystone, Crested Butte, and other resorts.
Find Discount Multi-Day Park City Lift Ticket Passes at the Undercover Tourist
Find discounted multi-day lift tickets to Park City Mountain Resort at the reputable vacation deals website, the Undercover Tourist. Choose between single-day tickets to multi-day passes from 2 out of 3 days to 7 out of 10 days and more. You will also find flexible multi-day Epic day passes here.
Keep in mind, you can use them at any of the Vail Resorts including Park City Mountain. You can find occasional lift ticket and lodging deals at Park City Mountain Resort on Liftopia and OnTheSnow.
Discounted Tickets Available for Children, Seniors, and Military Personnel
Children under 12, seniors 65 and older, and active-duty and retired military and their immediate family can receive discounted tickets to Park City Mountain Resort.
You can purchase Child and senior discount tickets ahead of time online. However, discounted military tickets can only be purchased at the ticket window with a valid military ID.
Get Hugely Discounted Skiing for 5th & 6th Graders With the Ski Utah Passport
We took advantage of the 5th and 6th Grade Ski Passport. It gets 5th graders three lift tickets to each of the Utah resorts and for 6th graders one ticket to each ski resort for an incredible deal.
Skiers need to apply for the 5th and 6th Grade Passport ahead of time online and some blackout dates do exist. We purchased this last year and it was awesome!
How to Find Discount Tickets to the Canyons Resort
In 2013, Canyons Resort was purchased by Vail Resorts and merged with Park City Mountain Resort to become America’s largest resort. Canyons Resort has since been renamed Canyons Village at Park City and tickets and season passes to Park City Mountain Resort are also good at the Canyons Village.
How to Find Discount Tickets to Deer Valley Resort
Deer Valley luxurious amenities. It is one of the only three resorts left in the country that does not allow snowboarding. To ensure uncrowded lift lines and peaceful experience on the slopes, Deer Valley limits the number of lift tickets sold each day. During holiday periods and weekends, the resort frequently reaches capacity so guests will want to pre-purchase tickets online to avoid disappointment.
Enjoy 7 Days a Deer Valley with the Ikon Pass
If you’re planning on skiing at least seven days at Deer Valley, purchasing the Ikon Pass is the best deal. The Ikon Pass includes seven days at Deer Valley Resort. You will also get seven days at Utah’s Alta/Snowbird and Brighton Resorts.
It also provides unlimited skiing at Solitude Resort and several other North American and international destinations. The pass has no blackout dates and discounted passes are available for military personnel and college students. IKON pass holders also get a limited number of discounted lift tickets for family members.
Find Discount Utah Lift Tickets on KSL Classifieds
Discounted single-day tickets to Deer Valley Resort can be hard to find, but the KSL Classifieds is one of the best spots to check. KSL is Utah’s NBC-affiliated television station and a popular spot for locals to post unused lift tickets and passes.
Check Ski Utah for Ski Deals
The Ski Utah website is a great resource for last-minute lift ticket packages and specials. It’s also a great spot to check for lodging deals and discounted ski and snowboard package rentals.
Deer Valley Discount Tickets for Children, Seniors, and Military Personnel
Children under 12, seniors 65 and older, and military personnel can purchase discounted tickets to Deer Valley Resort in advance online. No discounted admission is available for students.
Get One Ticket to Each Utah Resort with the Ski Utah Yeti Pass
If you’re looking to tick off all the Utah resorts including Park City Mountain and Deer Valley resorts, the Ski Utah Yeti Pass may be the pass for you. The Yeti Pass includes one lift ticket for each of the 15 Utah resorts. This will get you the lowest per ticket rate.
You cannot use the Yeti Pass at Deer Valley resort during the Christmas holiday or over President’s Day Weekend, however.
